You are cordially invited to experience Shillong and its Environs from our carefully restored 6 decade old 'Assam Type' vintage cottage. Only a few of these homes are found today in Shillong. We are located in a prime residential location, La Chaumiere, which is one of the best maintained and oldest of localities of Shillong. This Boutique Homestay is close to major places of interest- one can walk to most of them. Both Markets, POLICE BAZAAR & LAITUMKHRAH are 1 Km away. Despite being in the town one can still enjoy the quiet and magnificent views of the Shillong Plateau, infact we are located just beneath the Green Hills! Sunsets are glorious, as are the twinkling lights of faraway homes perched high on the hilltops at night! We are pleased to offer our revered Guests, 3 spacious, comfortable rooms of varying sizes, so you can select one that suits your needs best. All rooms have an attached shower with running hot water, whilst 1 is a family room, making it ideal for Children or even your Pet! Booking of the entire Cottage is possible and upto 10 Pax can be accommodated with extra Beds. Breakfast is complimentary, however if you relish Home Cooked Local Cuisine, we will be happy to whip up a healthy, tasty fare, but do inform us in advance! Homestays are ideal for short or long stays, provide an alternative to hotels as they provide freedom, a local ambience, at a reasonable price,with more flexibility. If you wish, the entire cottage (with the exception of some private quarters), can be reserved at a discounted price for more privacy or longer stays. So- come home to Your Home!
